    This book, which was formerly titled "Acts II" is a continuation of the Book of Acts using the same 'primitive-church' understandings of the scriptures, Holy Spirit, preaching, and the local church. Such ancient definitions and use of these words sets this work at odds with most modern scholars and church historians.  But this is the strength of the book.  

   The book also uses actual terms from each time period.  If believers from a certain period were called the "Cathari" (meaning the pure), then that is the term used in the book.  Many authors use phrases like "Ancient Baptists" when referring to believers of old.  While by doctrine and practice this may be an accurate observation, it is not an accurate history.
