Ancient names are very difficult for modern readers. They are weird. They often have been re-defined by poor historians. These names are therefore often forgotten or ignored because of the difficulties in using and understanding them.
The Cathari refers to a group of Christians between A.D. 250 and the Albigensian Crusade of the 13th century. They were the bible-believing Christians of their time.
Cathari reject the Lapsii all over the Roman Empire
The Lapsi refers to bible-believing Christians who began to depart from the truth. These believers mingled their faith with human philosophies and pagan beliefs. They eventually joined the Roman Government and evolved into the Roman Catholic and Protestant faiths of the 21st century.
Using verified documents of history that are universally recognized the book “Acts II” shows the history of the Cathari as a group of assemblies independent from the Lapsii since A. D. 250. In spite of the large number of churches that departed from solid biblical teaching beginning in A.D. 250, the Cathari assemblies as a network of churches with like faith and practice continued to dominate the spiritual scene of Europeuntil the 1500's. They continued just as Paul instructed them to do in the 1st century.
The Cathari churches/local congregations to this day still vastly outnumber the Lapsii churches worldwide. The number of activemembership attempting to serve Jesus Christ on a daily basis during the 21st century in the descendents of the Cathari dwarfs the number of those in Lapsii churches.
The same was true when Emperor Constantine issued his edicts against the Cathari in the 4th century. The same was true when Official Church Counsels in the 7th and 12th centuries attempted to deal with the growth of the Cathari churches. The success of the Cathari was taken as a direct insult by those who sought to monopolize religion.
When you as the reader see phrases like, "The Albigenses originated in the 12th century", by the time you finish this book you should be able to quickly identify that historical author as mistaken. In the quest for truth in reporting the facts, no one can seriously claim that the Cathari, relabeled Albigenses by the OfficialChurch of Europe, originated in the 12th century. That is simply when the Cathari had grown so numerous and bold again that they were openly meeting without fear of persecution from their ancient enemies.
They believed that Jesus Christ alone, through the power of the Holy Spirit controls the local congregations. This was His promise in John chapter 16. “Acts II” shows how Jesus has kept it. He still controls His church directly, as He promised in Matthew chapter 18.
When Gregory's Lapsii monks (7th Century) took over a NewTerritoryin the name of Romethey took over everything. If they found any Christians already there, they would demand that these believers submit to the Catholic or Lapsii faith. Those who did were incorporated into the churches of the Lapsii and spoken of as if they had always been Lapsii. If these new converts had any old heroes of the faith, then those heroes would undergo a literary makeover so that they would look like Official Catholic heroes. One of the most famous and effective makeovers is Patrick of Ireland.
If the Christians that Gregory’s Lapsi Monks found decided that they wanted to remain pure, then all sorts of bad things began to happen. Details of these stories are recorded later in “Acts III”. For now, it must be understood, that when the Lapsii took over they re-wrote history. They erased anything they did not like, remade what they did like, and drove everyone who disagreed with them into hiding or silence. Today in countries where freedom of religion and the press are the governing rules, they can only ridicule or attempt to discredit those who contradict them.
This is how the story of the churches became one-sided. If all the books and people that contradict the Official Version of History are no more, and the survivors were not coming out to debate for fear of death, then there seemed to be no one left to contradict the "Official" Story. The writers of Church History past and present want everyone to keep on believing what they have been saying for the past 1,400 years. But the truth is coming out again anyway.
The history of the Lapsii has little to do with New Testament Christianity. Only the Cathari have maintained the Traditions of the Apostles of Jesus Christ. The Lapsii have tried to take over the world by force. The Cathari have proven their faith in the Power of God by preaching the Old Gospel Story all over the world. The Cathari churches rejected the Lapsii churches during the 3rd century. This continual rejection is easily seen in the historical record.
