Why this Book?

#1 Confusion in Church History Today


                 In the year 2000 I began preparing a Church History course for my students in Novosibirsk, Russia.  During my research I was once again frustrated with the histories at my disposal.  The content in these volumes was unorganized, unfocused, or almost in every case overly focused upon the Reformation period.  Even more troubling was the way these authors glossed over eight particular centuries of Christianity.  

 

 

                                                        

        Adding insult to injury, if the Version of Church History that most denominations of the 21st Century tell is accurate, then Jesus Christ was a total failure.  These were the histories I was forced to read while earning my degree.  Those I found since completing my formal education were lacking as well.  These books tell a story of failure.   They teach that Jesus failed to pass on His teachings effectively.  In the name of Christ more people have been beheaded, burned, raped, tortured and repressed than in any other name in history. It is ugly to re-write and shameful to admit, but it is the history of the Official Churches of Europe.


     Thankfully after a decade of continuing research I discovered that the accepted version of Church History is the history of the Wolves, not the sheep.  As a Christian I had to be intellectually honest. I was forced to admit that because of the accepted Version of Church History who could blame an Atheist or Agnostic for rejecting the idea of a personal God that has the power to change peoples lives?


So the lecture notes I compiled that first time nearly 10 years ago became the outline for a New Church History Book.


The Book of Acts continued...

       
        It is time that people had a chance to read about real churches filled with genuine Christians just like those from 2,000 years ago.  When ancient writings are examined without prejudice, they reveal the fact that the Catholic Church played a major role in shaping life in Europe, especially during the "Dark Ages".  Even modern Catholic historians and Popes painfully acknowledge these recorded facts of history. 

       
        Thankfully, that is not the whole story.  The book "Acts II:  The Acts of the Apostles and their disciples continued" utilizes genuine documents of history that are universally recognized by independent scholars, to show that the Cathari have existed as a group of Independent assemblies since 250 A.D.  The descendants of Cathari faith did not inherit buildings, titles, or lands.   They inherited a faith in Jesus Christ as pure as the first century. 

       
        This new History series will answer the question as to who these Cathari were.  It is also reveal who their descendants are today.  Most will be shocked to discover that they are far from extinct, and are indeed thriving in the 21st century.  It is scary to know how few people on the planet today genuinely understand the way God has protected His Bible and churches for more than 2,000 years.  That is the story told in Acts II.  That is why it is such an exciting read.  

 

The Will of the Father

        The book that can be obtained on this website is a look at the hand of God upon history from a truly Biblical perspective.  God promised that His Word and His assemblies would never be conquered.  All who have tried to destroy them failed miserably.  Their failure was not only in life, but in eternity.  The story of these churches has been suppressed for many ages.  Therefore, "Acts II" is a story that contradicts much of what is being taught today as "historical fact". 

        For instance:  in the 3rd century, when a Chinaman uses the phrase "catholic churches" he is referring to the churches of Jesus Christ in his land.  In the 4thcentury when a Roman Emperor used the word Catholic, he was now referring to the Lapsi churches which he had brought under his direct control as the first acting Pope of the Official Catholic Church.  These historical facts are disputed, but they remain secure in verifiable historical events despite fierce objections by those who suffer from the truth being known. 

        By the 4thcentury Cathari churches were being oppressed by the Lapsii Churches of the Roman Empire.  These pure churches began to abandon the use of the word ‘catholic' when referring to themselves and others who held to the Traditions of Jesus Christ and His Apostles.  If one cannot grasp this fact, then history will remain a haze in their mind.


There is a great confusion between Catholic History and Church History

       
        The current confusion of Church History with Catholic History began with Roman Bishop "St" Gregory who lived at the end of the 6th century (501-600 A.D.).  This mastermind built the political engine that the Roman Catholic Church still runs on today.  He was their greatest political leader ever.  It was his genius to call everyone a Catholic in any country from his time forward.  His slogans are repeated today even on Yahoo Answers by many who post there.

       
        Anywhere in the world where Christianity already existed, it was relabeled "Catholic History" by him and those Benedictine Monks organized by him.  This ruse fit so perfectly because in the 3rd century the term ‘catholic' had widespread use in all true churches of Jesus Christ from Britain to Japan.  Therefore, the Benedictine monks and scribes trained in his system began to claim everything for Catholicism including:   buildings, famous assemblies of Christians, heroes of the faith, missionaries, authors & their writings, or anything with a form of faith which predated the 7th century.

       
        This is why arrogant claims are made today on behalf of the Catholic Church. They claim that the Bible itself is a Catholic document, and did not exist until they brought it into being in the 4th century.  They call the Apostles Catholic.  They refer to Catholic traditions of the Apostles that are passed down orally today in the Roman Church.   These claims are easy to make 20 centuries later.  But no one before the ignorance of the Middle Ages ever dared make such unfounded statements.  Once they had monopolized their power, they began beating this propagandist drum. 


        Now, 1,400 years later, many generations of Europeans and their descendants have lived and died believing these revisions of history.  Another example of revision is the story of the Albigenses. In the quest for truth in reporting the facts, no one can seriously claim that the Cathari, relabeled Albigenses by the Official Church of Europe, originated in the 12th century.  The facts from numerous independent sources make this an impossible claim.  Even Vatican documents directly contradict these claims made by modern "historians".

       
        Agnostic, Atheist, Heretical, Protestant, Orthodox and Cathari writers all point to the blatant biases of the Official Roman Catholic Church in her materials, teachings, websites and books. When the printing press and freedom loving individuals began to provide Catholic documents for examination a plethora of problems were noted.  Ancient documents including Biblical texts were proven to have been tampered with in the Middle Ages. 

       
        The Modern histories are correct about one thing though.  The Catholic Church is the parent organization of all Protestant and Reformed churches.  However, Modern Historians purposefully misleading when they write that independent churches of Cathari origin are daughters of the Catholic Church.  The Cathari churches rejected the Lapsii churches during the 3rd century.  This continual rejection is easily seen in the historical record.

       
        Catholic records themselves provide an overwhelming preponderance of evidence supporting the church history written in "Acts II: The Acts of the Apostles and their disciples continued".  There is no question that in all ages there existed a grass-roots, unorganized system of believers who were totally independent of the Official Churches in the regions where they lived.
